Information We Collect

In order to interact with the Service, users must visit the Paper Pirates website, paperpirat.es (or a customised URL that redirects to paperpirat.es), on their device and operate the Paper Pirates remote control (the “Controller”). 

Users must provide a username to access and use the Controller. This information is stored privately on our servers during the operation of the Service and is destroyed once the game is ended or the server is rebooted. 

We also use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on the Controller and hold certain gameplay information.

Cookies are files with small amounts of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.

You can disable cookies at any time using your browser. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Examples of Cookies we use:

  • Session Cookies. We use Session Cookies to retain gameplay information during the operation of the Service.

Anonymised gameplay data may be collected during the use of our Service. Information may include scores, room codes, game duration, player count, win type, and the time and date the Service was accessed. This data is used to improve both the Service and the Controller.

If you wish for gameplay data to not be collected, you may disable this within the options page of the Service.


Use of Data

Iteration Games LTD does not keep personal data for users of the Service, therefore will not share any data with third parties.

Any gameplay data collected is always anonymised. Collected gameplay data is used to:

  • Improve and maintain the Service.
  • Monitor the usage of the Service.
  • Identify, prevent and fix any technical issues.
